"Loved HW for 7 years"
Like Nicky, I love HW. I have been staying here on business for about 7 years. I have tried a few other motels in town from time to time due to no vacancy, nothing matches HW's customer service... its really is a credit to the staff. The management and staff have done an excellent job of keeping the public area's as normal as possible during the reno's... and I have not been woken up by noisy tradesman at all... Looks like level 1 &2 Reno's are almost complete with level 3 yet to go...
Seriously... stay at this motel and you will not be disappointed.

"Lovely view comfortable rooms"
My wife and I enjoy a stopover here each year enroute to the Gold Coast. We find the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and the views are amazing.
The hotel is commencing a renovation so we look forward to the improvements next year. Breakfast is served b&b style in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the beach and river. Its is a wonderful start to the day. This year we had room service for the first time. Tasty homemade pizzas that were lovely.
This is a good little stopover that we love.

"Great Spot"
A business trip brought me to Port Macquarie, and this hotel was booked by my company. I am happy it was. A clean and tidy room with magnificent views. My only gripe was that I wasn't in the room enough to enjoy it. Perhaps I shall return NOT for business another time.

"My home away from home!"
I have stayed at the HW in Port Macquarie every month for the last 2 and 1/2 years on business. During the first 12 months it was 2 nights a month and for the remainder of the time it has been 3 nights a month. As a travelling sales person I could not recommend a better hotel (and I've stayed in a few)! The management and staff at this quality establishment have always gone above and beyond with their exceptional customer service. They are highly professional and very friendly. The rooms are always clean and the VIEWS!!!!! BREATHTAKING AND AMAZING!!!
I have had the pleasure many times over the years of seeing whales breaching right off my ocean view balcony on the ground floor, let alone the view from the floors above! I am often tired from long days of driving up and down the coast line and I love being able to return to my room and order a wonderful room service meal which is always delicious and fresh and interesting due to their seasonal menu. The beds are super comfy and the pillows are to die for! I so look forward to staying here every month and the staff have made me feel like one of the family. It is truly my home away from home and I would have no reservations in recommending this hotel to anyone whether it be for business or pleasure. You will not be disappointed.

“Excellent - Customer Service at its best!”
I’m not generally one for reviews; however my recent stay at Port Macquarie’s Quality Inn HW Boutique urged me to take the time to advise others of this great place. We were instantly welcomed with a huge smile from the Hotel Manager, Paully - genuine customer service at its best! Our rooms were lovely, clean and boasted the most stunning views over the port.
Watching the sunrise from our balcony was stunning – a recommendation from one of the staff and well worth the early rise. Overall our stay was terrific and the friendly staff made our stay something to remember!

“Best location in town”
Originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying a further 2 nights as the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Situated on one of the highest points in the town this hotel has great ocean views and is only 10 minute walk into the heart of Port Macquarie. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of options nearby. We stayed in a river view room which was both modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel offers free wifi which is also a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great Location, good price and awesome service!”
We stayed in the Queen room with spa in December just over the Christmas break. I would say the price was a bit high since the dates we stayed were peak season. We payed $450.00 for 2 nights. But it was worth it.
Overall I would say it is an awesome place. Knowing that during the lean season you would be paying less money for really good place. Bed was very comfy (since I have a very weak back, I found the bed really good to sleep in). The toilet was very clean.
The view from our room, and from the bedroom you can't hear any noice from outside. I was also impressed with their services. On the second day when we got back to our hotel room, the room was so clean and I am very satisfied with their services.
We had a great stay and no problems with the accommodation.

“These people know how to run a hotel...”
We stayed at the this hotel in October for one night and it was clean, well apppointed, located close to the centre of town and the price was right. Unusually, these people are extremely friendly, helpful and go over the top to make sure everything is right; they actually like having guests it appears!!! An enjoyable overnight stay and the buffet at the bowls club was exceptional!

“Great views and a comfortable hotel”
Booked the room on the day from the visitor centre in PM for $120 which included full breakfast. Hotel is on the top of the hill going out of town so its a brisk 5 minute downhill walk to the town or can be accessed via a walk along the harbour and up the slope at the other end.
Staff were very friendly, rooms comfortable with an ocean view even from ground floor and an excellent breakfast from a room which overlooks the entire headland and out to sea. Would happily stay here again.
